Graffiti Press Release 
The Lake in the Hills Police Department issued a social media informational and a press release on January 29, 2015 asking for assistance in identifying the individual(s) responsible for spray
painting graffiti on several structures and signs between Algonquin Road and Indian Trail Beach on January 28, 2015.
As a result from an anonymous tip, the Lake in the Hills Police Department was provided information on a possible suspect in the graffiti cases. The suspect, identified by Lake in the
Hills Police as Giovanni D. Zambrano, 21, of Lake in the Hills, was arrested and charged with criminal defacement, a class A misdemeanor, and was released on bond with a pending court
appearance.
The Police Departments efforts were greatly enhanced in resolving this case by the assistance of an anonymous tip through our social media sites and the press release.
