#050 Warrant Service
Officer Hartman made contact with a 67 year old adult male on the 3800 block of Burton Common and arrested him for his outstanding warrants. He was booked into the Fremont Jail.
 
#052 Warrant Service
Officer Piol made contact with a 36 year old adult male in the 35800 block of Cabrillo Drive and arrested him for his outstanding warrants. He was booked into the Fremont Jail.
 
#003 Public Intoxication Arrest
Officers responded to the Tri-City Animal Shelter for a male sleeping in front of the entrance. Officer Malcomson contacted the 63 year old adult male who was heavily intoxicated. He was arrested for public intoxication. He was denied at Santa Rita and was taken to a local hospital where he was cite released.

Warrant Arrest and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 
Officers Catassi and Layfield stopped a 51 year old adult male at the Fremont Hub Taco Bell and arrested him for three outstanding warrants and an on-view charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.   
 
#018 Suspended License Arrest
At approximately 3:00 p.m., Officer Malcomson stopped an adult male at Automall/Grimmer Blvd for a vehicle code violation.  He learns that the male has a suspended license and issues a citation.  
 
#022 Driving with a Suspended License Arrest
At 3:05 p.m., Traffic Officer Snow stopped and adult male in a vehicle on East Warren.  The male driver had a suspended license as well as an active warrant for driving on a suspended license too.  Officer Snow arrests and books him.  
 
#034 DUI Arrest
At approximately 9:15 p.m., Officer San Luis and FTO Taylor respond to a crash at Stevenson/Besco.  The single vehicle hits three parked cars.  The investigation results in the driver being arrested for suspected DUI.
 
#036 Warrant Service
Officer Nordseth made contact with a 22 year old adult male on the 42200 block of Blacow Rd and arrested him for his warrant. He was booked into the Fremont Jail.
 
#037 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest
Officer Harvey made a traffic stop in the area of Argonaut and Mowry Ave and contacted a 26 year old adult male.  The male was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The male was arrested and cited.  
 
#040 Warrant Service 
Officer Hollifield made a traffic stop in the area of Mission Blvd and Stevenson Blvd and contacted a 23 year old adult male. The male was arrested for his warrant and being in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Fremont Jail.
 
#005 Public Intoxication Arrest
Officers were dispatched to a male loitering in front of the Chik-Fil-A on Mowry Ave.  Officer Madsen located a 34 year old adult male intoxicated in front of the business. He was arrested for public intoxication and booked into the Fremont Jail.
 
#007 Warrant Service
Officer Roberts made a pedestrian stop in the area of Mowry Ave and Bell Street and contacted a 21 year old adult female.  The female was arrested for her warrant and booked into the Fremont Jail.
 
#003 Commercial Burglary Arrest
Officers responded to an alarm call at an auto sales business on the 38300 block of Mission Blvd and found that forced entry had been made into the office. No vehicles were taken.
 
#008 Burglary 
At approximately 4:25 a.m., Code 3 security responded to an alarm at the Lakeview Apartments and located forced entry to the front doors of the business with blood on the glass. Officers cleared the business with negative results. Various items were stacked near the door in a garbage bag.  Officer Meredith was the case agent.
 
Shortly after this call at approximately 5:15 a.m., officers respond back to the Lakeview Apartments for a suspicious male in the locked weight room area. Security followed the suspect and he was last seen southbound on Bell St.  Officer Torrico locates the suspect inside Safeway at the HUB with bloody cut hands. The suspect was positively identified by the Lakeview Apt security and was on video at another burglary that occurred at Fremont Liquors.

Possession of Dangerous Drugs
Officer Leopardi stopped a 27 year old adult male and a 33 year old adult male behind the Safeway Hub.  She arrested one of the men for possession of dangerous drugs. 
 
Warrant Arrests
Officers Scherer and Ehling responded to a family disturbance on Porter Street and ended up arresting a 51 year old adult male for two outstanding warrants.
 
#023 Warrant Arrest
Officer Catassi and FTO Layfield contacted and adult male near Grimmer and Irvington.  Further investigation revealed that the male had an outstanding $15k warrant. He was transported and booked into the Fremont Jail Facility.
 
#031 Disobeying a Court Order
Officer Hollifield responded to the “Grimmer” MacDonald’s and arrested an adult male for disobeying a court order.
 
#034 Possession of Drugs
Officer Catassi and FTO Layfield responded to San Moreno Court in regards to a suspicious vehicle. Inside the vehicle were three males smoking drugs.  During the investigation, the rear passenger was found to be in possession of cocaine and illegal prescription pills.  A 23 year old adult male was arrested and booked into the Fremont Jail Facility.
 
#002 Hit and Run 
Witnesses called to report a crash at Central Ave and Blacow Rd.  Officers arrive on-scene and determine one of the vehicles had already fled the scene.  The suspect vehicle is described as a black Chevy Trailblazer.  The victim suffered minor injuries.  Officer Madsen is investigating.
 
#003 Commercial Burglary
A verified alarm is reported at “Vapor and Stogies” on Bay St.  Officers arrive and locate a shattered front door.  After the business has been checked it is determined there was no loss.  Investigated by Officer Meredith.
 
#005 Major Injury Collision
A reporting party calls after they hear a crash in the area of Las Palmas and Mission Blvd. Officers arrive on-scene and locate the vehicle which had crashed into a palm tree.  The driver of the vehicle, a 22 year old adult male, was unresponsive.  It was then learned the vehicle was reported stolen out of Union City.  The male was transported to a hospital with major injuries.  Officer Dooley handled the initial investigation.  The Traffic Unit was notified and responded to assist.
 
#006 Vehicle Arson
A reporting party calls after he hears a window shatter and then smells smoke.  Officers respond and locate a van on fire.  It is determined that an unknown suspect broke out a window of the van and then threw a bottle of gasoline inside.  The vehicle was then lit on fire.  Officer Meredith investigating with FFD Arson Investigator.

Officer Francisco conducted a warrant service at Motel 6 north and arrested a 23 year old adult female for her outstanding warrant.
 
#014 Parole Violation
Officer Montojo and Officer Sasser conducted a pedestrian stop at Midnight Liquors on Thornton Ave and arrested a 47 year old adult male for a parole violation.
 
#018 Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance Arrest
Officer Baca made a vehicle stop at Mission Blvd and Niles Blvd and arrested a 42 year old adult female for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
 
#030 Battery/Public Intoxication Arrest
Officer Bordy and Officer Zargham respond to the area of the Holy Spirit Church at Fremont and Parish, where a citizen reported a fight between two males. Upon arrival, they locate an adult male who had been involved in an altercation and was drunk in public. He was then arrested and taken to jail.
 
#034 Residential Burglary Attempt
At approximately 9:00 p.m., a resident hears some noises as if someone is trying to get into their house on Sanderling Drive. They then check the security cameras and see a male trying to force open the side garage door. One resident confronts the suspect with a broom and strikes him. The suspect then fled the scene in a red colored 90’s model Nissan or similar. The suspect was described as an unknown race male, approximately 6' tall and wearing a white colored hoodie.
 
#037 Warrant Arrest
An attorney brings his female client to the police department to turn her in for an arrest warrant. Officer Ramsey arrested the female and transported her the short distance to the jail.
 
#004 Vehicle Arson 
A resident from Shattuck Ave called to report a vehicle fire. Officers arrived and found a 1974 Chevy Chevelle fully engulfed in flames. There was a gas can found on the passenger area of the vehicle. The investigation revealed the classic was an unreported stolen out of Antioch. FFD Fire Investigator was called out and Detective MacDonald was notified. The scene was processed by CSI Chan and the case was investigated by Officer Gentry.
