...WIND CHILL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS MORNING... ...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM EST TUESDAY... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 7 AM EST TUESDAY.

* WIND CHILLS...20 TO 25 DEGREES BELOW ZERO THIS MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...3 TO 5 INCHES.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BEGIN LATE THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE PREDAWN HOURS TUESDAY.

* IMPACTS...FROSTBITE TO EXPOSED SKIN IN 15 MINUTES. HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE TUESDAY MORNING COMMUTE.

* AFFECTED AREAS: ADAMS ... CUMBERLAND ... FRANKLIN ... LANCASTER ... YORK

Instructions:

IF YOU WILL BE OUTDOORS...DRESS IN LAYERS AND WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES. YOUNG CHILDREN...THE ELDERLY AND THE HOMELESS ARE ESPECIALLY VULNERABLE TO THE COLD. APPROPRIATE ACTION SHOULD BE TAKEN TO ENSURE PETS HAVE ADEQUATE PROTECTION FROM THE COLD TEMPERATURES.
