URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOUNT HOLLY NJ 831 AM EST SAT FEB 14 2015

SUSSEX-MORRIS-SOMERSET-MIDDLESEX-WESTERN MONMOUTH- EASTERN MONMOUTH- INCLUDING THE CITIES OF NEWTON, MORRISTOWN, SOMERVILLE, NEW BRUNSWICK, FREEHOLD, SANDY HOOK 831 AM EST SAT FEB 14 2015

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST SUNDAY

WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM SUNDAY TO 11 AM EST MONDAY

* SNOW

ACCUMULATIONS 3 TO 5 INCHES.

* TIMING

SNOW WILL BEGIN THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE OVERNIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING. POSSIBLY HEAVY AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS

SNOW WILL MAKE ROADWAYS SLIPPERY AND BLOWING SNOW MAY REDUCE VISIBILITY TO ONE QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

* WIND CHILL

AS LOW AS 20 BELOW DUE TO TEMPERATURES 4 BELOW TO 14 ABOVE ZERO AND NORTHWEST WINDS 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.

* LOCATIONS

NORTHERN NEW JERSEY.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS, LIMITED VISIBILITIES AND BLOWING SNOW. USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS, MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES.
