INCIDENT: ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON

SUSPECT(S): Robert Allan Rottman, 47 years old, of Pinon Hills
Walter Charles Bittick, 51 years old, of Phelan (Outstanding Arrest Warrant)

SUMMARY:
During a party on September 20, 2014, at Bittick’s residence, located in the 12100 block of Riggins Road in Phelan, an adult male victim was physically assaulted.

According to the 19 year-old victim, Robert Allan Rottman kicked him out of his chair. Walter Charles Bittick then held the victim down while Rottman kicked the victim in the head until he was unconscious.

After an investigation by Detective Robbi Debois, warrants were issued for both suspects. On February 11, 2015, Detectives conducted a search warrant of Rottman’s residence, located in the 2600 block of Tokay Rd. A stolen gun, along with several illegal guns were located. Rottman, who is a known associate of the Vagos outlaw motorcycle gang, was arrested without incident and booked at the Victor Valley Jail. Rottman was released on bail on February 12, 2015.

During a search warrant at Bittick’s residence, Vagos gang paraphernalia was located and seized. Bittick was not at the residence and a warrant exists for his arrest.
