Danny Franklin Jimison, of Marion, charged with taking indecent liberties with a child 
Detective J.T. Grindstaff of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Danny Franklin Jimison, 70, of Tiptop Drive in Marion, with one felony count of taking indecent liberties with a child.
It is alleged that Jimison had inappropriate sexual contact with an 8-year-old female acquaintance in the summer of 2014.
The girl’s parents learned of the incident and notified authorities.
