Suspect wanted for indecent exposure at Torrance Beach

On Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at 5:15 PM, three juvenile female victims were seated in their vehicle on the far south side of the TORRANCE BEACH parking lot (300 Paseo De La Playa), facing the ocean. The victims observed the pictured suspect seated on his bicycle six to seven feet away from their front passenger side window. For approximately five minutes,

he stared and winked at them without saying anything. He then approached the front passenger side window while smiling and winking and at a distance of approximately three feet, began rubbing his genitals with his right hand on the outside of his shorts. When the victims yelled at the suspect to stop and go away, he continued to stare at them and rub his genitals from the outside of his shorts until they announced they were going to call the police and then he fled northbound and out of sight.

On Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 5:25 PM, the three juvenile female victims were seated in the TORRANCE BEACH lifeguard tower (389 Paseo De La Playa) just past the volleyball nets when they observed the suspect standing in the sand directly behind the tower approximately 10-15 feet away. The suspect called out, "Hey" and as the girls jumped from the tower, the suspect asked if they wanted to see his genitals. The suspect's pants zipper was unzipped and open and his hands were in the area of his exposed genitals. The victims ran and flagged down a nearby lifeguard while the suspect was last seen walking south on the beach. The suspect

was able to make it into several nearby bushes and possibly to the stairs that lead up to several residences / parking lots on the west side of Paseo De La Playa and/or out to the street.  The lifeguard believed the suspect could have possibly been hiding in the thick brush.

SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: White or Hispanic male adult, in his late 20s-early 30s, wearing a dark hat (unknown if markings on hat), dark hair sticking out from under the hat, no facial hair on one occasion and light facial hair on another, wearing a black sweatshirt or jacket, plaid shirt,
