Synopsis: A silver BMW 325i drove up to an ATM with a male driver and female passenger. The driver got out of the car and went to the ATM to get money. The female stayed in the car. A 29 year old male suspect walked up to the car and got into the driver's seat and told the passenger to get out because he was taking the car. The passenger got out of the car and the suspect started to drive away. The driver ran to the car and tried getting into the drivers side to stop the car. The suspect accelerated and dragged the driver a short distance before he let go. At some point the suspect struck an object with the car causing the airbags to deploy. The suspect stopped the car a short time later and fled on foot. Officers found the suspect and he was taken into custody. The male victim was transported to the hospital with injuries to his feet and arm. They are non life threatening injuries. San Diego Police Robbery Detectives are investigating.

Synopsis: San Diego Police Officers were flagged down in front of the 76 Gas Station at 121 E. San Ysidro Bl regarding a pedestrian robbery. A 19 year old Hispanic male was taken into custody during the investigation. The description of the suspect was similar to an all units call of a petty theft from a 7-11 about 10 minutes earlier. Officers responded to the 7-11 to investigate the incident. They determined the petty theft was actually a robbery to the business. Officers determined the suspect they had in custody was the same suspect in the all units call. The suspect came into the business and put a knife on the counter. The suspect walked to the cooler, took a beer, walked back to the counter, grabbed his knife and left without paying for the beer. San Diego Police Robbery Detectives are investigating.
