The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office with the assistance of the Los Angeles Police Department has recovered the vehicle used in the kidnapping and robbery of a female victim in Isla Vista on Monday, February 9.  The tan, 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe was impounded today, February 11, at the Los Angeles Police Department and will be transported to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office for processing.  Due to the active investigation, we are not releasing any additional information.

The Sheriff’s Office appreciates the public’s assistance with looking out for the suspect vehicle.  So far, no arrests have been made in this case.  Sheriff’s detectives continue to aggressively pursue all leads.
