Synopsis: A 48 year old male was shot several times outside of his residence while he was in his car at the foot of the driveway. The suspect was identified by the victim as being a 54 year old male acquaintance. The suspect was located in a residence in the city of El Cajon a few hours after the shooting. With the assistance of the SWAT team and Emergency Negotiators, the suspect surrendered and was placed under arrest. Northeastern Detectives are investigating.

Synopsis: A 38 year old male was shot once in the head and once in the back as he was leaning against a car on 3200 J St. A witness heard the gunfire and saw two HMA 's in their late teens running away. The gunshot wounds suffered are not considered to be life threatening and the Gang Unit is handling the investigation.
