On Saturday, February 21, 2015, the City of Artesia will be having their annual Public Safety Expo at Artesia Park (18750 Clarkdale Ave, Artesia 90701) between 10:00am-2:00pm.  It’s truly one of the best assemblies of Public Safety props at any one event.  In addition to an exciting bicycle show, the L.A. County Fire Department will be bringing out all of their toys.  They will be doing fire extinguisher & Jaws of Life demonstrations.  Our Sheriff’s Department will have representatives from most of our bureaus, including Arson Explosives Detail (Bomb Squad), Emergency Operations, the SWAT Team, Narcotics, Gangs, Auto Theft, Inmate Bus (tours), Posse, STAR unit, kid print, and more.  One of our Sheriff’s helicopters will also be landing in the park.  There will be music playing and food available for purchase.  Bring your kids, family, friends, neighbors and cameras for a fun day in Artesia!  We hope to see you there!
