Three armed robberies occurred in the City of Woodstock on Saturday, February 7 (one) and Sunday, February 8, 2015 (two). The particulars on each of the robberies are detailed below. The Woodstock Police Department is being assisted by the McHenry County Sheriff’s Department with the on-going investigation of these robberies. There are similarities between the robberies and they may have been committed by the same person. No one was injured in any of the robberies.
#1. Saturday, Feb. 7 - 10:05 PM - Shell Gas Station - 315 N. Madison - m/w, 5'10, 200 lbs., camo hat, camo jacket, black pants - covered face with scarf or shirt, displayed silver/yellowish handgun , semiautomatic style, fled s/b on foot. Undetermined amount of USC was taken.
#2. Sunday, Feb 8 - 08:27 AM - Gas Cap gas station - 401 S. Greenwood - m/w, early 20's, 5'10 - 6'0, tan "Carhardt" style jacket, black gloves, blue jeans, black ski mask exposing only eyes, black/silver semiauto handgun, audio and video available, assisted by Crystal Lake Police Department Canine who tracked offender to an adjoining business parking lot where it is believed offender entered a motor vehicle to flee. Undetermined amount of USC was taken.
#3. Sunday, Feb. 8 - 7:50 P.M. Sunrise Food & Liquor- 715 Madison - m/w - 5'10- - 6'0 - black ski mask, gray jacket with black sleeves, black gloves, white tennis shoes, black/silver semi-auto handgun, fled on foot, McHenry County Sheriff's Dept. assisted with a Canine and patrol units. Tracked to area parking lot where it is believed offender entered a vehicle to flee scene. Undetermined amount of USC was taken.
