On 02/04/2015 the Chittenden Unit for Special Investigations (CUSI) received a report from the Vermont Department of Children and Families (DCF) regarding an inappropriate relationship between a para-educator and a student at the Champlain Valley Union High School.
An investigation was initiated immediately with the complete cooperation of the school district administration. The investigation revealed that during the Spring of 2014, Julianne Graham had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a male student who attended the school. Graham was arrested at her home in Burlington and is being arraigned on charges of Sexual Assault. VT law states: No person shall engage in a sexual act with a child who is under the age of 18 and is entrusted to the actor's care by authority of law or is the actor's child, grandchild, foster child, adopted child, or stepchild.
