The Paws of Northeast Louisiana parade will begin at 1:30pm, on Trenton Street in West Monroe.

The Dirty South / Jester-Jog 5k run will begin 3:00pm. Road closures along the route will begin at 2:30pm, they are as follows; Commerce St., Cotton St., along with parts of Natchitouches St.
This is NOT a closed course.
Motorists are cautioned to be extra vigilant and aware of pedestrians in the roadway.

The Twin Cities Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade is scheduled to begin at 6:00p.m., Feb. 7th.

PARKING NOTICE: Trenton Street and Cotton Street will close to all vehicle traffic beginning at 8:00am., February 7th to provide a safe environment for all pedestrians.
These streets will be closed from Bridge Street to Wood Street.

Both the Lea Joiner & Endom bridges will close to all motor vehicle traffic at 6:00pm. Due to the new parade route, both bridges will remain closed for an extended period of time after the parade passes. Motorists are urged to take an alternate route when exiting the parade grounds.

NO PARKING OF VEHICLES ALONG THE PARADE ROUTE WILL BE PERMITTED
Any vehicles parked along the parade route on Trenton Street, will be towed, at owner expense, beginning promptly at 3:00pm, and along Natchitoches Street also at 3:00pm, February 7th.

The City of West Monroe does have an “Open Container” ordinance which does prohibit the consumption of alcoholic beverages in public.
