RECENT SPIKE IN VEHICLE THEFT/RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES

We have experienced a recent spike in both vehicle theft and residential burglaries.

The vehicles taken have been primarily mid 90's Hondas and a couple of Ford F150 trucks (2004-2006 models).

Please make every effort to secure your vehicle when it's left unattended. Lock the doors, activate alarms, secure the keys and park in the garage if possible.

The residential burglaries have occurred between Deer Ridge on the south west side of town and the developments south of Lone Tree Way between Shady Willow and Fairview Ave. The method of entry has been either a front door kick or side/rear window smash if there are no open doors/windows.

Please remember to secure your homes when you leave. Lock all doors and windows (to include upstairs exterior), set alarms and be vigilant in reporting suspicious activity/persons by calling 911.
