Please use caution during your commute from work this afternoon, or during any travel. Wet/slushy roads are turning to ice with the rapid drop in temperatures. Roads will be treacherous, so please take all precautions possible.
The National Weather Service has issued a warning that FLASH FREEZE conditions are expected across the region this afternoon and tonight. Temperatures will rapidly fall below freezing and wind gusts up to 45 miles an hour can be expected as the cold air moves back in. Also, some additional rain/freezing rain/light snow may still accumulate this afternoon.
