**UPDATE** Two Killed in I-74 Crash
The identities of the victims are being released from an earlier double fatal crash on I-74 in Shelby County.
The driver of a Maroon 1997 Saturn, Alesandro Cordova Cortez, 26, of Indianapolis and his passenger, Adrian Garcia Rodriguez, 36, of Indianapolis were both pronounced deceased at the scene by the Shelby County Coroner.
The driver of the second vehicle, a red 1997 Chevrolet Blazer, was Donnie Pursley, who treated and released at the scene for minor injuries.
Investigators believe the maroon Saturn may have been turning into a paved cross-over on the interstate in an attempt to make a U-turn. Senior Trooper Jeremy Basso said "it appears the Saturn had slowed down in the right lane, turned on its flashers, then turned across the left lane trying to get into the cross-over." The driver of the Saturn was not wearing a seatbelt however the passenger was. Both occupants had to be extricated from the vehicle by the Moral Township Fire Department.
