Shooting at 13442 Bellaire 
(HOUSTON, TX) - HCSO investigators are looking into a shooting that happened shortly before 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 1 at a restaurant located at 13442 Bellaire Blvd. in west Harris County.
According to preliminary reports, a disturbance occurred inside the place of the business between two individuals. One of them walked out to his vehicle, retrieved a hand gun, and returned to the restaurant. He fired several times through the glass front door.
Inside, a patron, who happens to be an investigator with the Harris County Attorney's Office, witnessed the shooting, retrieved his service weapon and returned fire, striking the shooter. The shooter died at the scene.
The HCAO officer was not hurt.
The investigation continues.
