The NWS has issued a winter weather advisory until 7pm in the Elk Garden area. 
The National Weather Service remains in effect until 7pm this evening. Snow accumulations from 2 to 4 inches and will continue into early evening. Temperatures are in the upper 20s. Winds west 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph. Untreated roads will become icy.
