Sun Prairie Police Department is urging residents to avoid travelling on city streets for the remainder of the evening. Blowing and drifting snow are making many roads impassable. The Public Works Department is pulling their crew off the roads as present conditions are making it unsafe to continue plowing operations after dark. A snow emergency remains in effect until 7:00 am on Monday 2/2/15 which means parking on any city street is prohibited.
