Snow emergency notification
The City of Dearborn snow emergency which went into effect as of 7 A.M. is expected to continue through the day on Monday, February 2nd.
Parked vehicles must be off the street or they will be ticketed ($80).The extended period for the snow emergency is needed because of the predicted prolonged nature of the snowfall, which will continue throughout the day on Sunday, into the evening and overnight. Vehicles should be off the street until further notice.
Keeping parked vehicles off the street allows for safe, efficient snow plowing and ensures police cars, ambulances and fire vehicles can access all areas.
