AVOID Los Angeles Avenue between Stearns Street and Tapo Street both directions closed due to loose horses. 
Simi Valley Police are trying to round up some loose horses along Los Angeles Avenue. The horses appear to have come from private property somewhere in the area, either by Metrolink or on Leeds Street.
In order to maintain public safety for pedestrians and vehicular traffic, we have closed Los Angeles Avenue in both directions until Ventura County Animal Control arrives on scene to assist. Please stay out of the area and use Cochran Street as an alternative.
