Pinckney Winter Snow Emergency

SNOW EMERGENCY DECLARATION / VILLAGE OF PINCKNEY (1/31/15):

To Whom It May Concern:

The National Weather Service has declared a Winter Storm Warning for the Livingston County area on 2/1/15 from 1 am to 7am. A large accumulation of snow is expected (up to 6” to 8”). In anticipation of the upcoming snowfall, the Village of Pinckney is declaring a SNOW EMERGENCY for the Village.

This means that all residents are required to remove their vehicles from the right-of-way and place them in driveways or garages. This is an effort to make the roads clear and safe for DPW crews that will be out all weekend trying to clear the snow from the roadways.

This emergency will remain in effect until Tuesday night – February 3, 2015.
