MMA Ice Rink closed due to Township Council Safety Concerns 
The Mahwah Municipal Alliance funded the recent installation of an ice rink that has been widely used by many of our children and residents. The MMA took what I believe to be reasonable and prudent safety measures to ensure the safety of all those who used the rink. While I disagree with the Council the ice rink will immediately be closed until the Township Council can provide a list of their concerns and how they wanted it corrected. I want to ensure that these safety measures called for by Council are applied fairly to all our recreation areas and a proper evaluation is performed. It is unfortunate but the MMA always take safety measures very seriously. Please forward your concerns or questions to me.
