ACCUSED: Brian Joseph age 28 Manalapan, NJ
NARRATIVE:
On 1/28/15, detectives from the Township of Ocean Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau were on patrol in the area of State Highway 66 and South Mall Drive when they stopped a vehicle for a motor vehicle infraction. During their investigation, they discovered that the passenger of the vehicle, Brian Joseph, was in possession of 150 bags of heroin, 12 Xanax pills without a prescription, a knife and three box cutters. He was placed under arrest and taken to the Township of Ocean Police Department.
Mr. Joseph was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of prescription legend drugs (Xanax) without a prescription and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was later released on a complaint summons and scheduled to appear at a future court hearing.
