The Bergen County Office of Emergency Management has issued a weather bulletin reporting that the blizzard warning has been cancelled. It is anticipated that Snow will continue through this afternoon before tapering off at around 4 PM. Another 3-6 inches is possible. Winds will be 15-25 MPH with gusts up to 45 MPH possible. Temperatures will remain in the upper 20’s.

The State of New Jersey has lifted restrictions on statewide travel. The ban has been revoked in all counties.

Saddle Brook Municipal Offices and Public Schools are closed today, TUESDAY, January 27th, 2015.

Road conditions will continue to be hazardous today, so please use caution and drive safely.

Residents and businesses are reminded that when clearing the snow from your properties do not put snow into the streets. If fire hydrants are in front of your properties, please clear an area of 2 to 3 feet around the hydrant and make sure it is accessible from the street.

As the snow may continue to fall today, please keep all vehicles off the street so that the DPW can adequately plow and clear the snow from the roads.

We will continue to monitor this weather event and our local activities and issue updates as necessary.

The Saddle Brook Office of Emergency Management command center will remain activated at police headquarters to facilitate any necessary operations for the safety of the community.
