Police Investigate Monday Homicide at Crest View Apts. 118 Crescent Ave. Apt. 210 
Jackson police are investigating the homicide of Harvey Gandy.
Around 6 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a shooting at Crest View Apartments, located at 118 Crescent Avenue, Apartment 210. Gandy, 33, who lived at this apartment, was found inside with an apparent gunshot wound.
Based on preliminary information, police investigators believe Gandy was shot earlier that day, but investigators are not releasing an exact time.
Because, there was no evidence of a break-in at the apartment, Gandy may have known the person who shot him.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying who may have come to Gandy’s apartment on Monday.
