County Bridge O-10 public meetings rescheduled
Two information sessions scheduled for Jan. 29

ASBURY PARK, NJ – Due to the coming storm, the public information meetings about the planned replacement of County Bridge O-10 on Sunset Avenue over Deal Lake located between Asbury Park and Ocean Township, have been rescheduled to take place on Thursday, Jan. 29. The first meeting will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. on Jan. 29 at Asbury Park City Hall Council Chambers, One Municipal Plaza.

A second public information meeting will also be held on Jan. 29 in Ocean Township from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ocean Township Public Meeting Room at 399 Monmouth Rd.

There will be a brief project status presentation at each meeting; Asbury Park at 3:30 pm. and Ocean Township at 7:30 p.m.

These meetings are being held to update the public on the detour and schedule of the project. The public is invited to attend the open house format meetings and ask questions regarding the project.

“Monmouth County is replacing the bridge on Sunset Avenue that crosses over Deal Lake,” Freeholder Thomas A. Arnone said. “People who are unable to attend the meeting can visit the County website at www.visitmonmouth.com to learn more about this project.”

Transportation agencies involved in the project include the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority and the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
