Good morning everyone.
Your public safety agencies would like to thank the community for adhering to the warnings and travel restrictions during this weather event. The Public Works professionals from Deal and Interlaken worked very hard all night long and with your cooperation they were able to do a great job of keeping our roadways open. We still have dangerous slippery conditions throughout our area and crews are continuing to make our roads safe. Please limit any travel if it is not necessary. We will continue to have steady snowfall through mid-day today with temperatures well below freezing and strong gusty winds. The blizzard warning has been cancelled and the Statewide travel ban lifted.
