On January 26th, 2015 at approximately 1945 hours the female victim was approached from behind by the male suspect in the Bank St stairwell tower of the Marketplace Parking Garage. The suspect took the purse (containing a known amount of currency) from the victim, causing her to fall to the ground, and ran out of the tower onto the second level of the parking garage. The suspect was last seen entering the Cherry St stairwell tower from the second floor. The suspect was seen inside the garage 10-15 minutes prior to this incident by the victim and an additional witness.
Suspect Description: A dark skin white male or possibly Hispanic in his 20’s, approximately 5’8” tall and 200 lbs. Wearing a grey beanie cap, a royal blue jacket and “worn” khaki pants. Short hair, no facial hair.
