Patchy black ice possible Metro Atlanta overnight thru Tuesday morning
The National Weather Service is advising that Far North Georgia will have cold enough temperatures and moisture to support some light snow tonight. Counties in the Far North Eastern section of the state are under a Winter Weather Advisory.
There is also a chance of patchy black ice for areas from Atlanta north as temperatures fall below freezing tonight and roads could become icy in spots that have not completely dried out.
Strong winds of 15-25 MPH are also possible across portions of North and Central Georgia.
Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution tonight and tomorrow morning
