A Winter Storm Warning and a State of Emergency has been declared. This storm will intensify through the evening and is expected to produce snow accumulations of 12 to 16 inches. In addition, winds of 10-20 MPH with gusts up to 35 MPH are expected resulting in a visibility of a 1/4 mile or less.

PLEASE avoid all non-essential travel and do not park on the roads overnight so that snow can be cleared. In the event of power outages, please make sure your generator is properly ventilated.

Please use 9-1-1 for emergencies only. Power outages and other non-emergent matters should be reported to the Police Department tonight at: (973) 593-3000.
