Winter Weather Advisory. 
Governor Christie has declared a State of Emergency due to the impending storm. As well, the Borough of Somerdale has declared a Local State of Emergency. Although there is no travel ban at this time, all residents are encouraged to limit any unnecessary travel.
Residents are reminded to remove vehicles from municipal roadways and parked in available driveways to allow for plow clearance.
Somerdale Public Work Employees will be conducing plow operations during most of this snow event and that operation will continue as necessary.
Most importantly, residents are reminded to clear sidewalks within 12 hours of a snow fall and special attention should be given to sidewalks along a school route or county or state highways so that pedestrians are not forced to walk in the roadway.
