Miami County – Friday, a criminal investigation by Indiana State Police Detective Josh Rozzi resulted in the arrest of Joshua R. Hardy, 30, Peru, IN. Hardy faces two level 4 felony charges for sexual misconduct with a minor.
Rozzi started an investigation after receiving information from the Miami County Division of the Indiana Department of Child Services that Hardy possibly performed sexual acts with a 14-year-old Miami County girl. The investigation revealed that in January 2015, on multiple occasions, Hardy allegedly committed sexual acts with a 14-year-old Miami County girl. He was arrested by Detective Rozzi and incarcerated in the Miami County Jail.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
