The Sheriff’s Department is investigating a scam involving a man identified as Randy Lee Davis. It has been reported that Davis is soliciting funds from people for fictitious charities. Davis is currently out on bond for theft charges in Grundy County, Tennessee. If you feel that you have been in contact with Randy Lee Davis or been a victim of fraud please contact Sheriff’s Investigator Don Ward at 931-363-3505.The Sheriff's Office would like to update this release by adding the following information. This is a current and ongoing investigation and Investigator Ward would like to talk with anyone that was solicited by this man regardless if they gave him money or not.
