The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Wind Advisory for North and Central GA including Clayton County through 8 PM.
Expect winds from 15- 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph. Winds this strong can make driving difficult for high profile vehicles. Unsecured outdoor items such as trash cans and lawn furniture may be blown around. With soils wet from recent rainfall, these winds could down trees and large limbs causing power line issues.
Please exercise caution as you drive apparatus today. Treat down power lines as LIVE ones. Report any issues to 911 as soon as it is safe to do so.
