A winter weather advisory has been issued for Monday January 26 into Tuesday January 27. Significant snow fall (14 to 24 inches) is possible starting Monday during the morning commute and lasting until Tuesday early afternoon. Winds 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph and temperatures in the 20’s. Visibility is expected to be diminished from blowing/drifting snow. Information will be updated as it becomes available as weather conditions may change at any time.

Please help the Department of Public Works with snow removal by removing your vehicle from the side of the road. Do not push snow from your driveway back onto the street. Please do not call 9-1-1 about snow removal from your street.

It is encouraged to remain home during and immediately following the storm unless absolutely necessary as traveling will be hazardous during the storm.

After the storm, remember to clear all snow and ice from your vehicle, sidewalks and fire hydrants!

Remember to check on your elderly family members and neighbors.
