Blizzard Watch in effect from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning - No parking on snow emergency streets

A major winter storm will affect North Brunswick Monday into Tuesday with the potential for a foot or more of snow.

A Blizzard Watch has been issued by the National Weather Service for Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning. Snow will develop early Monday morning which will slow the morning commute. Heavier snow will then overspread the area Monday afternoon or evening and continue into Tuesday. Considerable blowing and drifting snow are expected as winds will average from 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 45.

The storm will have a major impact on travel with visibility one quarter mile or less at times Monday night into Tuesday morning. Whiteout conditions are possible.

Residents are urged to remove their vehicles from the street in order for proper and efficient snow removal. Anyone that can park in the driveway please do so.
