THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A BLIZZARD WATCH FOR MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.
*Locations – North East New Jersey
*Hazard Types – Heavy Snow / Blizzard Conditions Likely
*Accumulations – Snow 1 to 2 Feet / Locally Higher Amounts Possible
*Wind – 10-30 MPH, Gusts to 50 MPH
*Timing – Heaviest Snow and Strongest Winds will occur Monday Night into Tuesday
*Impacts – Extremely Dangerous Travel Due to Heavy Snowfall and Strong Winds. Secondary Roads May Become Impassable. Strong Winds May Down Power Lines and Tree Limbs.
