Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of the person who died after being struck by a vehicle at a collision on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 20, 2015 on Third and B Streets, in Santa Rosa.
The deceased is identified as Ruth Ileen Tapian, a 73 year old woman from Santa Rosa. Her family was located and informed of her death.
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office has scheduled an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of Tapian’s death.
The Santa Rosa Police Department is conducting the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatality and the vehicle collision.
