Serious Injury Accident at Fourth Avenue & J Street in Chula Vista 
On January 24, 2015, at approximately 9:18 PM, officers from the Chula Vista Police Department responded to the intersection of Fourth Avenue and J Street in regards to an SUV striking a subject on a bicycle.
When officers arrived on scene the bicyclist was unconscious and bleeding from the head. The driver of the SUV is cooperating with the investigation and the bicyclist has been transported to hospital due to head trauma.
The intersection of Fourth Avenue and J Street will remain closed while the CVPD Traffic Division investigates the incident.
