**2nd Update** #LASD Homicide, Arrest Made In Connection to a Stabbing Death at a Local Middle School in East Los Angeles 
***2ND UPDATE***
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives have made an arrest regarding the stabbing death of a 14-year-old minor that occurred yesterday, January 23, 2015, at Griffith Middle School.
At approximately 1:30 AM, today, investigators arrested a 13-year-old Hispanic juvenile at his residence in Los Angeles in connection to the stabbing. He was transported to East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station and booked for murder.
The weapon was not located.
There is no further information available.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death of a male juvenile that was discovered on Friday, January 23, 2015, at 3:00 PM, in the 4700 block of east 4th Street, Los Angeles.
Detectives have learned that East Los Angeles Sheriff's Station deputies responded to Griffith Middle School regarding a "Stabbing" call. The 14 year old male Hispanic victim was a student of Garfield High School. He was at Griffith Middle School for unknown reasons. While the victim was on campus, the suspect approached the victim, stabbed him in the chest, and fled the scene south on Fetterly Avenue.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic juvenile.
There is no additional information at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
