SUMMARY:
In late December Detectives from the Morongo Basin Station received information leading to an investigation of child molestation and possession of child pornography. Detectives identified Alex Gomez as the suspect and served a search warrant at his residence. They recovered evidence of child molestation and child pornography.

The San Bernardino County District Attorney's Office reviewed the case and filed the above listed charges and issued a warrant for Alex Gomez's arrest. The bail is set for $250,000.00. On January 22, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. Gomez was arrested at his residence without incident.

Alex Gomez is employed as a school bus driver for a private contract company, not the school district. Detectives believe these crimes occurred while Gomez worked as a bus driver and are concerned there may be other victims.
