A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and freezing rain has been issued for North Brunswick from 9 p.m. this evening to 10 a.m. on Saturday. Snow accumulations of 2 to possibly 4 inches, along with around a tenth of an inch of ice is possible.
Snow is expected to begin between 9 p.m. and midnight and change to freezing rain between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. on Saturday. Freezing rain and sleet will change over to plain rain during the morning and lighten up in the afternoon. Precipitation will end late in the day as snow showers or wintry mix.
Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.
Residents are urged to remove their vehicles from the street in order for proper and efficient snow removal. Below is a list of snow emergency streets:
