El Cajon - Natural Gas Line Break 
Heartland Fire & Rescue crews with the assistance of Cal Fire are on the scene of a natural gas line break in the area of N. 2nd St. and E. Main St. in El Cajon. Construction crews were working in the area and caused a line to rupture. Fire crews have requested SDG&E to assist in controlling the leak. 2nd Street will be closed in both directions in the immediate area, until the leak can be secured.
