APD and AFD units are at the scene of a burning propane tank on property at the east end of the 34th Avenue overpass, south of 34th.  This area is west of 34th and S. Arthur.  The Amarillo Office of Emergency Management confirms that the source is a small tank trailer  that was attached to a pickup.  AFD is currently monitoring the situation, and there have been NO evacuations necessary.  APD has traffic blocked to prevent driving in the area from Canyon Drive at 34th or from Arthur.  The on scene police supervisor said that they are reporting no traffic in the area.
