I bring this incident up as a friendly reminder that we all need to be a little more aware of our surroundings. The particular home owner in question came home while the residence was being burglarized. Luckily, they were able to detain the suspect without any major incident. I would like to emphasize the word LUCKILY. You can never know the intentions or weapons that a suspect may have. When possible it is always best to call Lakewood Sheriff Station, and let the trained professionals deal with the situation.
