On January 19, 2015 at approximately 1500 hours Burlington Police responded to 911 call of a Burglary that had just occurred at 262 Pearl Street, Burlington, VT. The caller advised that an unknown male had just attempted to gain entry into the residence and quickly fled the area. The victim was able to provide a brief description of the suspect.
Burlington Police responded to the area and located a male suspect matching the suspect description provided a few blocks from the crime scene. The suspect was identified as John P. Reynolds of Burlington, VT. Reynolds was subsequently arrested and lodged at the Chittenden County Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail, and is to appear in Vermont District Court, Criminal Division, on January 20, 2015, at 0830 hours, to answer to the charge of Attempted Burglary, Unlawful Mischief and Possession of Burglary Tools.
