On 1-20-15, at about 3:18 AM, an APD stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 2800 block of Magnolia. Officers contacted the driver and found that he didn’t have his driver’s license. The officer was given consent to search the man and found three small baggies of marijuana in his pocket. The officer arrested the man. During a subsequent search of the car, the officer found 24 more small baggies of marijuana in the driver’s side door of the car. The total approximate weight of the marijuana is 37 grams. Andrew Doshon Burns Jr. BM 20 was Amarillo was booked into the Potter County Detention Center for possession of marijuana under 5 pounds.
