All lanes are now open on the ramp from I-69 SB to I-465 SB. The driver of the semi was cited for insecure load and placed out of service.

ISP is on the scene of a steel coil in the roadway on the ramp from I-69 SB to I-465 SB. A semi tractor-trailer lost the steel coil off a flatbed trailer around 9:15 a.m. The coil has unraveled over 200 yards on the right shoulder. SB traffic on I-69 is backed up over one mile. This is expected to be a lengthy clean up. The ramp will remain open however the right lane will be closed for approximately four to five hours.
Travelers should seek alternate routes. Be sure to allow plenty of space between the car in front of you as rear end collisions happen frequently in traffic back-ups.
